In the well-being area there will be nutrition workshops, yoga, tai-chi, massage and various other therapies, skincare demos and the return of the Native American medicine wheel.

Some details...

Derbyshire Toy Library Kid's Zone - so much fun...

Belper Fix-it Cafe - On Saturday 1st June from 12-2 there will be fixers waiting to fix your stuff.. So far we have someone who may be able to fix your clothes? A pair of beloved jeans with a whole somewhere Unsuitable? An expensive jumper that got snagged at the weekend? A pair of trousers that need taking in because you’ve done so well at weight watchers? Someone who may be able to fix your electrical goods? A broken wire in your headphones? A loose connection in your remote control car? A general diy-er who could fix your child’s broken toy? A wobbly chair leg? A necklace? A broken garden tool? And we also have a talented joiner who may be able to fix your wooden goods!! Bring your broken things to us and see if we can fix it. Or if you don’t want to carry anything around with you while you enjoy the music and fine beer, at least come and visit us to see what we can do and how we work!!

BC Vintage Amusements - Children's carousel

Kids Bee Happy Sand Art - Kids Bee Happy is a hands-on interactive experience, colouring pictures using brightly eco dyed and colour fast sand. 1. Peel of a pre-cut, section of your chosen picture (Oval, A6, A5 and A4 sizes available), to reveal a pre-glued area. 2. Choose which colour sand and sprinkle it onto the picture. 3. Repeat! Until you’ve coloured in all the sections. The activity is virtually mess free and creates a lovely masterpiece every time. When the picture is complete, we can put it into a plastic sleeve to protect it and so that it can be kept and displayed at home. The variety of picture designs means that it is suitable for a very wide range of people. From toddlers through to elderly people with dementia. It’s most popular core ages and groups would be children aged from 3 to 13, and their parents. The mix of pictures also means that its equally popular with boys and girls, and we promote it as a gender-neutral activity. Kids Bee Happy sand art pictures are made using recycled paper, eco friendly dyes, and a plant based, non palm oil, adhesive.

We are planning to create a big community art model at this year’s festival where the children can come and help build over the two day event – we hope to have the model displayed somewhere local after the event.
